+# Metabolite analysis

+Metabolites of *R. nigrum* were measured by GC-MS (gas chromatography - mass spectrometry) to study the effect of drought on its primary metabolism and complement the transcriptomic analysis. Leaf and root samples of well-watered and drought-stressed plants were used for the measurement. The abundance of 60 metabolites was compared between both conditions.
