MALDI-TOF analysis

The digested products of GBP1 were analyzed using Oligosaccharide Mass Profiling as previously described.86 Briefly, 2 μL of the samples were spotted onto 2 μL of crystalized dihydroxy benzoic acid matrix (10 mg·mL−1) and analyzed by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (Bruker rapifleX instrument, Bremen). Mass spectra were recorded in linear positive reflectron mode with an accelerating voltage of 20,000 V. The spectra of the samples were analyzed using the flexanalysis software 4.0 (Bruker Daltonics, Billerica, USA).
