Ribes nigrum genome sequencing experiment
To generate a blackcurrant genome assembly, DNA of the cultivar R. nigrum Rosenthals Langtraubige was used. DNA was extracted from young leaves of a single adult plant. Sequencing was performed with Oxford Nanopore Technologies, PacBio HiFi and Illumina.
